Maygane Lew – Class of 2025
Maygane Lew (24-E3), Netball Captain and Eder House Committee member, led with heart and consistency, making every interaction count. From guiding her Orientation group to juggling trainings and academic commitments, she valued collaboration and teamwork above all else. Maygane’s thoughtfulness, dedication, and natural ability to connect with others created lasting bonds and left a vivid, positive imprint on the EJ community.
“My two years in EJ have been nothing short of meaningful, being filled with exciting highs and rewarding lows. As the captain of my netball team and a House Committee member of Eder, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing EJ in so many different ways. From early 7am trainings in the ISH to quick laps around the canteen just to catch up with friends, every moment within these walls has left a lasting mark on me and reminded me that what comes from the heart truly goes to the heart.
A huge part of my journey has been shaped by the people around me - my family, classmates, teammates, and teachers. There’s a saying: “If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together,” and that couldn’t be more true of my experience here. From late-night study conversations with friends to consultations with teachers at the Level 9 study area, every interaction added something meaningful to my journey. While this has been my personal journey, it is also a reflection of the love, care, passion, and support from everyone who walked alongside me or quietly cheered me on from behind.
Looking back, I carry with me immense gratitude for all the opportunities, experiences, and memories I’ve been given. These two years have passed by in the blink of an eye, and I’ve learned to pause and appreciate the little moments along the way. If there’s one experience I would hold onto, it would be my time as an Orientation Group Leader. Those five exhausting yet exhilarating days allowed me to truly feel what it means to be a Eunoian and to form genuine, heartfelt connections that I will always cherish.”
